What this tool is

The Comment Assistant is a private, single-account tool used by the operator of the @dailyprayer.mom Instagram account to help reply to comments left on that account's own posts. It is not a product, it has no users other than the account operator, and it is not offered to anyone else.

What data it accesses

Through Instagram's official API, and only for posts owned by the @dailyprayer.mom account, the tool reads:

• The text of public comments
• The public username of the person who left the comment
• The comment's identifier and timestamp
• Post identifiers and comment counts

All of this is information that is already publicly visible on the post itself. The tool does not access private messages, follower lists, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personal information.

What it stores

The tool keeps a deliberately minimal record:

• Comment identifiers of comments that have already been answered, so that no one is replied to twice. Retained for 30 days, then deleted automatically.
• The most recent reply used per category, so the same wording is not repeated back to back. Retained for 24 hours.

Comment text, usernames, and profile information are not stored. They are read, used to compose a reply, and discarded when the process finishes.

What it does with the data

The only action the tool takes is publishing short public replies to comments on the account's own posts. That is the entire purpose.

What it never does

• It does not sell, rent, or share data with anyone.
• It does not send data to any third party, analytics service, or advertising network.
• It does not send direct messages or contact anyone privately.
• It does not build profiles of the people who comment.
• It does not track people across sites or apps.

Where the data lives

The tool runs on Cloudflare Workers. The short-lived records described above are stored in Cloudflare's key-value storage and are not accessible to anyone but the account operator.

Your choices

If you left a comment on one of the account's posts and would prefer not to receive a reply, or would like a reply removed, delete your comment or write to the address below and it will be handled promptly. Deleting your comment removes it from anything this tool can see.

Children

The tool is not directed at children and does not knowingly process information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
